Tail Chasers Tasty Treats and Golden Sourdough are two small businesses brought together by Amanda and Darci Golden, who share a passion for quality ingredients, thoughtful recipes, and serving their community.
Together, they bring over 40 years of combined experience in veterinary medicine, nutrition, and the health food industry. Amanda, a former Registered Veterinary Technician with 23 years of experience and Nebraska’s 2017 Outstanding Veterinary Technician of the Year, has dedicated her career to caring for pets at every stage of life. Her work reinforced a simple belief: good nutrition plays a key role in a pet’s health and happiness.
Darci brings over 20 years of experience in the supplement and health food world, including 12 years managing a health food store. A Sioux Falls native, she combines her knowledge of nutrition with a love for baking, creating both wholesome pet treats and handcrafted sourdough goods. Her personal experience caring for pets with allergies and special needs helped shape the foundation of Tail Chasers, while her passion for baking led to the creation of Golden Sourdough.
At Tail Chasers Tasty Treats, they offer gourmet, small-batch pet treats made with high-quality, purposeful ingredients. Each recipe is crafted to balance nutrition and flavor, giving pets treats they love and pet owners can trust.
Through Golden Sourdough, Darci creates fresh, handcrafted sourdough breads and baked goods using simple, high-quality ingredients. From classic loaves to rotating items like cookies, crackers, and biscotti, there’s always something new to enjoy.
