Become a Vendor

Summer Market is located at Falls Park in Sioux Falls, SD. The market is open Saturdays from 8am to 1pm, May through October.

Application deadlines are:

February 15 for returning vendors

March 1 for new vendors

Applications are reviewed by the Market Board beginning after January 1 and are considered in the order they are received. Vendors will be notified of their acceptance status by email.

As a vendor at the Falls Park Farmers Market, you are expected to follow a set of rules and regulations to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants. Some of the rules include:

• All products sold at the market must be locally produced within 100 miles of Sioux Falls, SD.
• Vendors must have proper food licensing and certification, and provide a SD Sales Tax ID certificate.
• Vendors must maintain a clean and safe environment, and follow proper food handling and sanitation practices.
• Vendors must display their prices clearly, and accurately label their products.
• Vendors must be respectful and courteous to customers and other vendors.

As a vendor at the Falls Park Farmers Market, you will have access to a large customer base of local residents and visitors to the area. You will also be part of a supportive community of vendors who share a passion for locally produced goods. Additionally, the market provides a unique opportunity to build your brand and promote your business.

All vendors are required to have $1,000,000 liability coverage and proper food licensing and certification. Additionally, each vendor must provide a SD Sales Tax ID certificate.

Fees are based on spacing. North Addition stalls are 12’ x 18’ are a one time payment of $475/stall.

Currently North East, South West and South West against the structure spots are reserved.

Vendors are required to be full time and commit to a majority of markets between May and October.

Picnic tables are provided by Sioux Falls Parks and Recreation for customers at the market, but vendors must provide their own tables and display items.

Vendors may sell locally produced products within 100 miles of Sioux Falls, SD. The sale of goods not grown or produced by the seller, the reselling of goods, or the sale of goods that have been traded or bartered for is not permitted.
