Tomato Fest

Many people enjoy the fresh, juicy flavor of a freshly picked tomato. But what exactly makes a tomato good, and what makes one not so good? Well you’ll get to decide at Tomato Fest, this Saturday at the Falls Park Farmers Market!

From 9am to 11am just $2 will allow you to sample heirloom and hybrid tomatoes, and vote for the best tasting, most beautiful, and oddest looking of the bunch.

Once you’ve placed your tomato-votes, make sure you pick up some produce. Get sweet corn, beans, broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, peas, zucchini, potatoes, beets, carrots, and of course… tomatoes!

Plus, get coffee, freshly baked breads and pastries, locally raised meats, homemade candy, wood-fired pizza and much more at the Falls Park Farmers Market, this Saturday from 8am to 1pm!
