Cornucopia specializes in pastured poultry as well as a wide array of vegetables.

Our chicks get their start in the brooder house and at 3 weeks of age we put them out in Chicken Tractors on grass. They breathe easier because there is less dust and enjoy the benefits of eating bugs, weeds, grass and grains and pass these benefits along to us in the form of higher omega-3’s and CLA’s.

Chicken tractors are 10’ by 12’ structures that shelter the birds from wind and rain. We move them to fresh grass each morning and evening. The Chickens take about 7 weeks from hatch to finish and average about 4.5 pounds. They are USDA inspected and come to you frozen as a whole bird or a whole bird cut in pieces. (Chicken is available starting in May and through the winter until we are sold out – call us about pricing and to place your order)

We practice organic growing methods. The farm is Certified Naturally Grown. This means we don’t use chemical insecticides, pesticides, herbicides, fungicides or fertilizers. We do use compost, cover crops and crop rotation.

We offer vegetables from A-Z except sweet corn!
