Carper Sweet Corn and Produce was started in the late 1980s. The business started with a small plot of sweet corn that was sold to local grocery stores. This continued until the mid 1990s when roadside stands and farmerโ€™s markets became the main method of distributing locally produced fresh produce. Every year new vegetables where added to the sales mix.
