Carper Sweet Corn and Produce was started in the late 1980s. The business started with a small plot of sweet corn that was sold to local grocery stores. This continued until the mid 1990s when roadside stands and farmer’s markets became the main method of distributing locally produced fresh produce. Every year new vegetables where added to the sales mix.
