When Life Gives You Potatoes…
Be thankful of all the different ways to eat potatoes.
With only two market days left, make the most of your weekend and stock up on locally-grown crops for your winter food storage. Freshly dug potatoes are perfect for baking, boiling, or adding to stew, but those uneaten potatoes can also be saved for the colder months. Holiday feasts practically scream out for mashed potatoes, so be sure to keep plenty of spuds on hand for the upcoming family gatherings. Not to mention, crops purchased in-season are generally less expensive than those bought from the grocery store during winter months. So, be sure to stock up on apples, carrots, onions, garlic, and the last of the fresh tomatoes.
Falls Park Farmers Market is the perfect place to celebrate the glowing shades of autumn. Our floors can be found decorated with golden leaves and our windows are always open for a fresh breeze. Put on your comfy layers and come enjoy some freshly-brewed coffee while you shop for your favorite fall necessities: caramel apples, squash and gourds, pumpkins for Jack-O-Lanterns and pies, soaps, pasta, bread and so much more.
Falls Park Farmers Market has something for everyone. Join us this Saturday, 8am-1pm, at Falls Park.
