Last Market of the season

aed3c05f-aa8f-4840-9370-7643ed1993dfWe don’t mean to scare you, but this Saturday is the last market day of the 2015 season, so it’s your last chance to stock up on all of your favorite fall goodies at the Falls Park Farmers Market!

There’s still time to get your apples, broccoli, squash, garlic, cabbage, carrots, onions, potatoes, radishes, baked goods, meats, pastas, and of course the autumn staple – pumpkins! Whether you carve them, use them as fall décor or turn them into pie, get pumpkins of all different shapes and sizes this Saturday!

It’s been another great season, and we’d like to thank you for your tremendous support. Without people like you supporting buying local, the Falls Park Farmers Market wouldn’t possible! So please enjoy the final day of the season, have a safe and happy Halloween, and we’ll see you next year!

Savory or sweet, gourds make for tasty treats and hearty additions to your fall stews and soups!

Pumpkin seeds are a good source of zinc, which promotes immune health. Roast them for an autumn snack!

Pumpkins are great for decorating, but that’s not all! Celebrate the season with some pumpkin ravioli and pumpkin pie!
