Nibble My Ear
Summer just isn’t summer without fresh sweet corn! Whether you grill it, boil it or strip it, make sure you get it from the best vendors in town at the Falls Park Farmers Market!
But sweet corn isn’t the only summer crop we have – get some early tomatoes, cucumbers, green onions, zucchini, carrots, aronia berries, and so much more. And don’t forget about meats, coffee, flowers, breads, pastries and wood-fired pizza!
It’s going to be another beautiful weekend, so don’t spend it indoors! Coming to the Falls Park Farmers Market is a great way to get outside and enjoy the summer while getting some of your weekend shopping done.
So come for the sweet corn, and leave with the freshest produce in town, only at the Falls Park Farmers Market, this Saturday, 8am to 1pm.
Love onions, but hate the teary preparation? Try lighting a candle next to your chopping board for clearer vision!
Are you making fresh salsa and want to peel your tomatoes fast? Boil them for 20-30 seconds and then drop them into ice water. You’ll be able to pull the peels right off!
Technically, the green bean is a fruit. The Supreme Court ruled in 1883 that it is a “fruit of the vine”. Fruit or vegetable, we rule that green beans are delicious!
