The leaves are changing, the temperature is cooling, and the fall lineup at the Falls Park Farmers Market is here. It’s official, autumn has arrived!
This week get your pumpkins, gourds, squash and other fall favorites. Plus you can still get plenty of tomatoes, onions, garlic and much more. Squash always makes a hearty fall meal, and of course you’ll need pumpkins to make your spooky jack-o-lanterns, pumpkin pie and baked pumpkin seeds!
There are only four market days left this year, with the last day on October 25, so stock up while you can! Get it all in one stop at the Falls Park Farmers Market this Saturday, 8am to 1pm.
Savory or sweet, these gourds make delicious treats! Celebrate the season with some pumpkin ravioli followed by pumpkin pie!
Pumpkin seeds (pepitas) are a great source of zinc, which promotes immune health. Roast them for an autumn snack!
Pumpkins are great for eating, but they’re even more fun to carve. Get into the Halloween spirit early with a spooky (or happy) pumpkin face!
