New Farm to Feast details released

Farm to Feast: 100 years of Farm Fresh Food

The Falls Park Farmers Market is celebrating its 100th anniversary this summer.

The 2012 theme is “Farm to Feast: 100 Years of Farm Fresh Food.” An anniversary celebration is scheduled for August 7 from 5:00 to 7:30 p.m. at the Falls Park Farmers Market Open-air Pavilion.

Advance tickets are $20 and at the door cost is $25. Tickets are available at Falls Park Farmers Market at the Farm to Feast table and the following venders: Artisian Italian, Jensen Sweet Corn & Produce, Hackberry Hallow and Seedtime & Harvest.

The ticket price includes food samplings 5-7:30 p.m. from over 20 local chefs featuring local farm produce and meats as well as complimentary beverages and music by South Dakota Symphony musicians.
